The Phu Quoc Natinal Park is one of the Phu Quoc’s natural wonders and an area of very rich forest and marine resource which play an important role in the livelihoods of the local people. Nation park was established in 2001 and once covered over 50% of Phu Quoc island. Visitors can experience the Nation Park by participating in eco-tourism activities and tour.

Specifically, he is well known for burning the French battleship “L’Espérance”. Eventually he was caught and executed but the local people have not forgotten him and hence they built this temple.
