What makes Wolves Birds Navigation and Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse in Ushuaia a unique experience ?
We will enjoy a relaxing catamaran cruise through the historic and challenging Beagle Channel, home of countless historic shipwrecks in these icy waters south of the Strait of Magellan.
We sail around the Isla de los Pájaros where we appreciate the Fuegian birdlife observing Skuas, Steamer Ducks, Cauquenes, Kelp Gulls and Grey Gulls; and the Isla de los Lobos where we can observe specimens of South American sea lions and sometimes two-haired sea lions. Both islands belong to the Bridges Archipelago.
Upon reaching the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, known as the Lighthouse at the end of the world, we will be able to see the colonies of Imperial Cormorants and Rock Cormorants, and also hear the story of the sinking of the SS Monte Cervantes in 1930. At the end of the journey, you will be amazed by the view of the mountain range that surrounds the city of Ushuaia and its sumptuous nature that surrounds it. It is a journey of great historical and scenic value that we take, visiting privileged and interesting points throughout the entire trip, which you can discover by sailing through the waters of the Beagle Channel.
