Ushuaia: Lago Escondido and Fagnano 4×4 Experience

We begin our adventure crossing the national route, exploring valleys and mountains. We arrive at Paso Garibaldi, where we cross the Andes Mountains and get our first view of Lago Escondido. Since 1957, this place has been our home as we work with the local wood, lenga. As we descend towards the Escondido Lake, the exciting off road journey begins to one of the Estancia's shelters. Here, we will stop to interact with the horses and enjoy a delicious breakfast. The more adventurous can opt for a short ride along the shore of the lake. You will experience all the thrill of the Off Road, crossing large water holes and beaver areas until you reach our refuge at Fagnano Lake. Lake Fagnano will be the perfect setting for our lunch. After lunch, you can stroll and enjoy the immensity of Lake Fagnano before returning to the city.

Tierra del Fuego National Park is a national park in Argentina located in the province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands, in the southwestern tip of the Argentine portion of the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego, about 12 km west of the city of Ushuaia.

The Carbajal Valley is a depression located in the Argentine province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and South Atlantic Islands.1 The valley is of glacial origin and is currently crossed by the Olivia River, the largest of the rivers near Ushuaia.

Off-Road Lakes is the best way to get to know Lake Fagnano, the fifth largest lake in Argentina. This fun and surprising excursion is suitable for all types of travelers. From this majestic lake we will start the 4×4 journey through old axe-men roads where the majesty of Lake Fagnano awaits us.

We will arrive at the panoramic point of the Garibaldi Pass, where we will cross the Andes mountain range, descend to the shore of Lake Escondido where we will have a delicious mate chocolate coffee with Argentinean pastries.
