Snow Route in the Andes 4×4 through Tierra del Fuego

Snow Route in the Andes is a proposal that will allow you to discover the snowy Patagonian Andean forests during the winter season, and interact as a team with different complete modalities of winter and 4x4 adventure. To do this, in Valle de Olum, an outstanding winter environment, we will take a 15-minute dog sled ride through the valley, on a snowy and scenically amazing circuit. After the activities, we will begin our 4x4 Circuit, descending the Andes mountain range, entering the Lengas Forest, until we reach our warm Refuge in front of Lake Fagnano, in Estancia La Carmen. There, in addition to touring the ranch, visiting the museum of ancient settlers and contemplating the lake, we will have a delicious barbecue lunch. To finish, we did two beautiful winter experiences, Snowshoe Trekking and Snowmobile Ride.

Departure from the office to pick up all passengers approximately 10 hours.

The first activity we will do will be a cross-country dog sleigh ride in the Olum Valley, led by the experienced Mosher Hugo.

Next, around 12:30 p.m., we will begin to ascend the mountain range until we reach the Garibaldi Pass, with beautiful views of Lakes Escondido and Fagnano. Here we will stop to contemplate the landscape, take photographs and get to know the surroundings.

Then, we will continue to the beginning of our 4x4 circuit. We will enter from the beginning of the lenga forest trail, and from here we will make our 4x4 circuit, descending the Fuegian Andes and penetrating the lenga forest until we reach our refuge in front of Lake Fagnano.

Once we arrive at Estancia La Carmen, we will have time to walk along the side of Lake Fagnano, visit the history museum of ancient settlers, while we throw wood at the salamander and be dazzled by the beautiful panoramic views of Lake Fagnano, the delicious roast. We had lunch with a three-course menu, starting with a bite of ham and cheese, and then enjoying the roast with Fuegian lamb, and then dessert, with drinks, and a homemade liqueur!

After the 4x4 circuit, we will go to one of the most important winter centers in Tierra del Fuego, to do two unforgettable winter activities: Snowmobile Ride and Snowshoe Walk. Unforgettable!!!

Once the activities are finished, we will return to the city of Ushuaia to drop off each of the travelers, estimating to arrive at 4 p.m.
