Take a walk on the wild side of Tromsø at night. This is a hiking tour for those who want have a closer look at the Arctic wilderness. Feel the wind and evening sun in your face, breathe the pure air and hear the sounds of nature while taking a walk up to a small mountain with amazing views and the midnight sun. During the summer the 24 hour sun light gives the opportunity to enjoy the nature all day long.

The Arctic is such a magical place, offering special moments through and around the fjords during the twilight months that can only be found above the Arctic circle (this is because the sun does not rise above the horizon). Because of this we have created an scenic, educational sightseeing tour in which we will explore the fjords in the arctic landscape around the Tromsø region. Our scenic journey is located mainly on Whale island and passes through 3 fjords, majestic high mountains and brings us to small colorful fishing villages where we experience spectacular views of white sand beaches and open sea.

We schedule numerous stops in the most scenic places where we take pictures. Around the noon will follow a longer 45 minutes break near beautiful, long white beach. There we offer you a rest in our grill cabin while surrounding cozy camp fire.
We will enjoy our small refreshments, hot drinks and share with you exciting local stories and beliefs.

During our journey through Whale Island, we may spot reindeer, moose, sea and white-tailed eagles and hope to see orcas and humpback whales (between November – January).
