What makes Full day Northwestern Glacier & Wildlife Tour from Seward a unique experience ?
We’ve been exploring the magic of Kenai Fjords since 1978—we’re leaders, trail-blazers and the most experienced company in the area. From the waters of Resurrection Bay to the distant fjords and glaciers, a lifetime of passion and adventure comes together with every tour.
Your adventure in Kenai Fjords begins at the harbor in beautiful Seward, Alaska. Dress in layers, make sure your camera is charged and prepare for a memorable afternoon at sea. As you exit the harbor, watch for eagles, sea otters and Dall's porpoises. As you explore more of Resurrection Bay, keep an eye out for orcas and humpback whales in the waters below, along with kittiwakes, puffins and murres in the skies above. As you round Aligo Point and enter Harris Bay, you will be greeted with some spectacular views that feel untouched, unspoiled and breathtakingly wild. Northwestern Fjord and Glacier is one of the most spectacular fjords in the national park, part of the Harding Icefield. Watch out for wildlife and floating icebergs from the glacier calving.
Alaska Maritime National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 2,400 islands, headlands, rocks, islets, spires and reefs and is known for its abundance of seabirds.
