You need to bring: • Day Pack to hold water, food, harness, helmet • Sturdy clothing for hiking as you will be sliding over rough rock on the hike (spadex tends to rip) • Layers (light jacket or pull over, check weather forecast temperature) • Leather Gloves (optional for tender hands on rough rock and rappelling) • Fleece beanie (good for staying warm) • Hat/Sunglasses/Sunscreen • 3-4 liters of water (Start hydrating the day before!!!! This means your pee needs to be light colored or clear before Saturday morning. Being hydrated also helps prevent muscle cramps.) • Plenty of high energy snacks and lunch – we will not be anywhere we can get food/drink until 30 minutes AFTER we get back to the top • 1 flashlight/headlamp per person (in case our adventure takes longer than expected) • Comfortable, sturdy and WORN shoes that have traction on wet rocks – tennis shoes are fine but this is NOT the time to break in a new pair of shoes. • Camera/Video (you are responsible for your gear) • Medications - Bring what you may need for medical needs. Please contact us if you have any questions.
