What makes Santiago de Chile Sightseeing Tour a unique experience ?

We meet at the meeting point at approximately 9:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m., in the "square in front of Hotel Plaza San Francisco." (Alameda #816, Metro Universidad de Chile.) To begin our adventure, we will go by public transportation to reach the historic center of Santiago. It can be in the beautiful, picturesque and safe Santiago metro or in an Uber, depending on where we depart from.

Santa Lucia Hill, where we will make a guided walking tour of the urban park, surrounded to various tree species, ornamentation of European origin and relics from the Chilean colonial past, in the Cerro Santa Lucía attractive spaces stand out, such as the Neptuno and Caupolicán terraces and the Castillo Hidalgo.

In front of this square is the Palacio de La Moneda, this iconic building is the presidential headquarters of Chile. We will learn about its history and architecture. If we are a little lucky and coincide with the day, we will be able to see the changing of the guard at the presidential palace.

Explore the former National Congress building, a key symbol of Chile's political history, located near Plaza de la Constitución.

We will continue our adventure on the way to the Plaza de Armas, the starting point of Chile, also called kilometer 0, it is the historic heart of Santiago. Here we can see the Metropolitan Cathedral and other historical buildings that surround the square such as the Municipality, the Post Office and the History Museum.

We will walk through a charming pedestrian street connecting significant historic sites, including monuments and important buildings from Santiago’s past.

We will stop to visit to Santiago’s famous market, where you can see and sample local products, particularly fresh seafood and traditional Chilean dishes.

We will continue climbing through the capital until we reach the Bellavista neighborhood, we will explore this vibrant neighborhood, famous for its lively nightlife, colorful murals and picturesque architecture. Here we will also find La Chascona, one of the houses of Pablo Neruda, the famous Chilean poet, and the entrance to Parquemet.

We will visit this modern park, one of Santiago’s largest green spaces, ideal for walking, relaxing, and enjoying artificial lakes, picnic areas, and a variety of plants.

We will continue exploring the most modern area of Santiago, known for its contemporary architecture, tall buildings, and vibrant commercial life, highlighting the city’s modernization.

After this experience full of historical and cultural information we will return to the hotel.
