Dominating the centre of this important community is the massive structure known as Caana, “Sky Place.” This immense complex of palaces and temples remains today the tallest human-made construction in Belize.

Are you ready for a bumpy ride? Join us as we travel deep into the green dense forest of Belize. Off we go on a three-hour drive to one of Belize’s most prestigious jewels. Up and down, side to side as we drive up the dirt road. Looking through the window and witnessing how the broadleaf forest transitions into a pine Forest then back into the broadleaf forest is alluring. This is quite astonishing as both hold different ambient and different species of wildlife.

Travel through time to the mysterious world of the ancient Maya at Caracol, the largest Mayan site in Belize! Located deep within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve and nestled amid high-canopy jungle, the archaeological complex includes five plazas, an astronomic observatory and thousands of buildings. You’ll learn about Caracol’s agricultural practices, sacred rituals and their historic defeat of Tikal as you tour the site with your knowledgeable guide. This day trip from San Ignacio includes round-trip hotel transport by minivan or SUV.

This combination tour includes a visit to The Barton Creek Cave and Big Rock Waterfall located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve. Barton Creek Cave was once an ancient Maya burial site. It is only accessible by canoe and requires minimal physical activity as you glide along gently. The drive to the cave is very scenic, passing through a few Maya Villages along the way.  This tour is slow paced, educational, and fun for all ages. After the Cave tour is complete we drive to Big Rock Falls located approximately forty-five minutes away; a great swimming spot.

This combo tour is a full day tour that leaves from San Ignacio at 8:30am and returns at 4:00pm. Lunch is included.

This combination tour consists of a morning tour of Xunantunich Maya Temple which is located 20 minutes driving distance from San Ignacio Town in the Maya Village of San Jose Succotz. To get to the site one must cross the Mopan River by a hand cranked ferry, which then gives us access to the one mile ascent into one of Belize’s most popular sites. Here you will enjoy sightings of pristine jungle surroundings, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, birds and iguanas. After lunch we head to Big Rock Water Falls located in the Mt. Pine Ridge Forest Reserve for swimming and site seeing.

This combo tour begins at 8:30am and concludes around 3:30pm

Barton Creek Cave is a stream cave located near San Ignacio in the Cayo District. It was used by ancient Mayan people for ceremonial purposes and it was discovered in 1970 and studied by archeologists in 1998.
As you enter Barton creek, you will enjoy the scenery of the Mennonite Community and their traditional lifestyle.
During the tour you will see sparkling crystal formation and learn about the Mayan history, archaeology and geology.
The tour consists of exploring 1 mile of the massive 4.5 long cave which is yet to be discovered.

Big Rock Falls is a hidden gem located in the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve flowing over the Privassion Creek. It is a large cenote surrounded by big rocks and a small pool at the bottom.
This tour is for both adventure seekers and relaxation lovers. You can climb boulders and plunge into the pool below or relax under the water fall and enjoy a water massage.

The Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve is a unique tour for both adventure seekers and relaxation lovers of all ages, its natural habitat is easily accessible to be explored and enjoyed. During the tour guests will enjoy a delicious Belizean Cuisine picnic style surrounded by nature. The tour is a day filled with swimming, sunbathing, hiking and relaxation. Is one of the oldest areas of Central America; after the plate tectonic moved pushing up the magma, metamorphic change to granite rising from the sea. The mountain was exposed to weather creating a series of waterfalls, streams, and rivers. Researchers have found rocks that date 340 million old, the oldest rock of Central America with one of the tallest waterfalls over a 1000 ft high. Mountain Pine Ridge was Rio-Firo-Cave one of the first mountains to emerge from the sea several waterfalls, creeks, and rivers were formed to create Belize's two biggest watersheds, The Sibun River and the Macal and Belize River. The area being so big allows us to visit three of the most impressive destinations Rio Frio Cave, Rio On Pool, and Big Rock Falls.
