What makes Snowmobile Safari and Reindeer Farm Visit a unique experience ?
After your transfer from Rovaniemi City Center, you’ll be warmly dressed and taken to a reindeer farm located beyond the Arctic Circle. Upon reaching the farm, you can meet the friendly reindeer and enjoy a brief 500m long reindeer sledge ride. Local reindeer herders will be present to share their insights and address any queries you may have about the distinctive lifestyle and customs of the region’s reindeer herders. Gain a deeper understanding of how herders manage their reindeer and collaborate as a family to preserve their way of life. To add warmth, hot juice and biscuits will be served. Following your visit to the farm, partake in a 1-hour snowmobile safari within the Arctic Circle. Before embarking on this adventure, our expert guide will provide snowmobile training to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience through the Arctic Circle forests. Children will be seated on a sledge pulled by your guide’s snowmobile. Your tour will conclude with a transfer back to Rovaniemi.

- Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
- In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
- Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
- 2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
- Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety. Children are unable to participate in the snowmobile tour for if the outside temperature is below -20°C.
- If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
- Children under 3 year old are not recommended to join this tour.

Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded. The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
