It is the main place for ice climbing in the winter but offers much beauty throughout all seasons. Be on the lookout for natural delicious berries and mushrooms! The changing altitudes may be a little demanding where fitness level is categorized as easy-moderate. The whole hiking trail (30km) Korouma offers is classified as demanding but this day trip will go on the easier nationally acclaimed ~5km hiking trail. If you are capable of walking up and down, then you can go on this easier hike. During lunch time your guide will demonstrate how to start a fire the Lappish way for your BBQ. - Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
- Operated in Rovaniemi each year between May to November (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price.
- Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Sunny Safari Office is within 8km.
- Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
- Please wear suitable outdoor clothing and shoes according to the weather. Raincoats and rubber boots are recommended on rainy days.
