What makes Golden Circle, Secret Lagoon and Northern Lights Tour a unique experience ?

Golden Circle is the ultimate day tour route from Reykjavik. It includes three Iceland's iconic destinations: Geysir geothermal area, Gullfoss waterfall and Thingvellir national park.

Ancient volcanic crater lake with stunning walking trails, including a winding path down into the mouth of the volcano. 65 minutes drive to Kerið. 25 minutes on location

Geysir is one of Iceland´s most iconic and popular attractions. In fact the name for this geological feature is derived from the original icelandic term, a rare instance where an icelandic word is used internationally. 25 minutes drive to location. 75 minutes on location Walk past steaming pool and stream towards Strokkur Geysir, which shoots steam and hot water high in the air, every 10 minutes of so. So you will have plenty of time to see it perform during your stop here. Strokkur has been known to erupt up to 40 meters into the air.

Gullfoss waterfall is one of iceland´s most impressive and powerful waterfalls. This multi-drop falls derives much of its power from glacial meltwater from Langjökull glacier which looms large to the north of Gullfoss. There are several viewing platforms here where you can take in the sights from different perspectives. On the walking trails you can feel the spray from Gullfoss on your face, such is the power of the falls. Gullfoss has been known to freeze in particularly harsh winters though this is increasingly rare. 15 minutes drive to location. 40 minutes on location

Thingvellir, a UNESCO heritage site is notable for two main reason. Firstly it is an historically significant location for Icelanders, as Iceland´s parliament, Alþingi, first met here in the late 10th century! Chieftains from all over would meet here periodically, some traveling great distances in order to discuss the issues of the day. Thingvellir is also important due to its unique geology, sitting as it does on the mid-atlantic ridge between the european and american tectonic plates. Iceland is the only place in the world where the ridge can be seen on land, with the edges of both plates clearly visible. 60 minutes drive to location. 40 minutes on location. 45 minutes drive to location.

Secret Lagoon, also known as Gamla Laugin, is Iceland´s oldest geothermal pool. This natural hot-springs is the perfect refuge from the sometimes harsh winter months in Iceland. Your entrance ticket is included in your tour price. Just remember to bring your swimsuit and towel, although those can be rented here for an extra fee.

Your evening northern lights hunt will be on a different bus to your morning Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon tour. Our guides will take you out into the countryside in pursuits of the shimmering lights display of the aurora. We will do our best to find the lights for you and will go to several locations if necessary to find clear skies.
