What makes Private yacht excursion to Saona Island in a tropical paradise a unique experience ?
In the morning, a driver and guide will meet you and accompany you throughout the day to make your experience even more interesting. From the hotel, we head to the port in Bayahibe, where the boat awaits you. On the way to the island, you will enjoy the incredible colors of the Caribbean Sea, the wild coastline of the Cotubanama National Park and the rocky coast of El Peñón.
Before disembarking on Saona Island, you will have the opportunity to snorkel in Catuano to discover the underwater world in the vicinity of the island, full of fish and other sea creatures (snorkeling equipment is provided). On Saona, you will fall in love with this tropical paradise with its palm trees and white sand beaches. Relax on the beach or take refuge in the shade of the Caribbean palm trees, stroll along the shore, take millions of photos, enjoy a massage and try a Piña Colada or cocktails at the open bar, all for your enjoyment. Lunch is a traditional Dominican buffet and BBQ grill + seafood and wine (lunch is paid separately, depending on group size and menu). After lunch, you will enjoy a well-deserved rest.
In the Parque Nacional del Este, you will enter a mangrove area where it is common to spot turtles. Palmilla is a natural pool, better known as the home of Dominican starfish, with which you can take some really incredible photos, our crew will be happy to help you (we always have cameras for underwater photography available). After a day full of activities, we will return to the port and then to the hotel. Of course, we do not insist, but one of the best ways to spend this day is in the company of Caribbean cocktails such as the Cuba Libre or the Santo Libre. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask any member of the crew on board.
