During the winter months (from April to September) the penguins remain offshore. The penguins return to the same place every year to make their nests. The penguin colony has a visitor center where the rangers give talks and explanations. From here begins a path of 3,500 meters along the beach that runs through the habitat of the penguins, the nests dug in the ground stand out and the specimens that with a firm and graceful march come and go from the sea seeking their food.
