Whether you enjoy a refreshing day on the water to cool off in the summer months or looking to venture out on one of Arizona's warm winter afternoons, kayaking Saguaro Lake offers an escape stunning scenery and diverse wildlife.

Take a break from stress of daily life and enjoy paddling along diverse desert cliff-lined shores and tall canyons on a guided kayaking tour with friends and family. Some of the local wildlife you can expect to see during your paddle may include bald eagles, bighorn sheep and blue heron. The contrast of the blue water against the desert topography is like nowhere else in the world.

Feel confident on the water whether you are new to paddling or have been paddling for years. Our guides are local to the Phoenix area and have been paddling the local lakes and rivers for over 10 years. All guides are certified through the American Canoe Association (ACA) for instruction, guiding, and water-safety. Each guide is first aid and CPR certified.

This trail offers majestic views of Saguaro Lake, with beautiful high canyon walls and the natural beauty surrounding it. On this trail, you may see bighorn mountain sheep, bald eagles, and more wildlife. The landscape is dotted with towering saguaros, cholla, jojoba, and prickly pear. This Hike's difficulty rating is considered moderate and about 4.5 miles out and back, with an elevation gain of about 636 ft and its highest grade of 15%.

This is an off-road trip through Four Peaks Wilderness Area. We will be passing Saguaro Lake and entering sandy rolls of through Pobrecito access point. The remainder of the trip will be spent in the Four Peaks Wilderness area which brings you past many different types of landscapes (Huge Boulders, Giant Cactus, Smooth Rocks and Big Desert Washes). The Trip takes 6 hours depending on road conditions and passenger preferences. Four Peaks is an area of the Tonto National Forest. There is a good chance of seeing desert animals such as: horses, coyotes, javelina, and snakes. The peak is much cooler in temperature than Pheonix. You will need to bring a coat or jacket. In the winter there is a good chance there will be snow on the peaks.
