We'll take you on a journey to explore Cyprus through the Troodos mountain villages, tasting authentic foods* and meeting true locals. *We keep our tours authentic by visiting true locals and because our hosts are also busy with every day life – we cannot guarantee which stops will be included. In Chloraka village we'll visit a family making delicious honey and other bee products. You'll enjoy a tour of the premises and a tasting of their products!
Here we'll meet a local lady making halloumi and anari traditional cheeses! We'll learn all about the process and enjoy a tasting.
We'll explore the world of olives and taste an array of interesting products!
We'll take a look at the history of wine in Cyprus at this beautiful and scenic location! You'll also enjoy a tasting of the famous sweet wine 'Commandaria' made in Cyprus. This wine has a 5000yr old history in Cyprus and holds 2 Guinness World Records!
We'll stop in Polemi Village* for a traditional meze lunch with drinks - all included in your tour price! *The village and taverna is subject to change depending on the final route.
Next is a look into the modern wine scene of Cyprus! Here we'll enjoy a tour of the winery and then sit down for a tasting of Mr. Tsangarides wines - famous for his organic range!
This village is famous for its traditional Cyprus delights and here we'll stop to try these along with other sweets and treats! Again we'll explore the making process behind the products and meet the families continuing these special traditions!
