You can take a dip in the natural pool or relax in the serene surroundings. Our final stop is Omodos, a charming mountain village known for winemaking and fruit orchards. The highlight is the Monastery of the Holy Cross, one of Cyprus’ oldest, rich in cultural and historical significance.

Lambouri wines are made from local grape varieties grown in the best grape region of the island, zone A, on the southern slopes of the Troodos mountains. Here, the combination of rich limestone soil, spring rains and hot, sunny Mediterranean summers allows the fruit to ripen and give it its full flavor. Winters are mild and the light Cypriot breeze keeps the frosts in check and dispels the fogs. This is the ideal environment for creating fine wines.

The waterfall is hidden inside the mountain and the whole area around it is wet, the water of the waterfall is a “cold” river, which is the highest waterfall in Cyprus, its water falls from a height of 15 meters. Millomeris was not so famous in the past due to the inaccessibility of its location.

The village of Omodos is located at an altitude of 810 meters above sea level, so even at the height of summer it is cool here. The pride and adornment of Omodos is the monastery of the Holy Life-Giving Cross. This is one of the oldest villages in Cyprus, of great cultural and historical significance. Another feature of the village is that it is located in the center of the wine-producing region and is famous for its incomparable wines. Wine here can be tasted and bought in almost every home. And in the village, there are several small museums: a museum dedicated to the struggle for the liberation of Cyprus in 1955-1959, a wine museum, and a lace museum. In the glassblower workshop, you can buy beautiful handmade souvenirs.
