This tour is a combination of the best trio of English heritage today. Your tour commences with magnificent Windsor Castle, on a rock a hundred feet above the Thames and can be seen from kilometres away, is the Queen's favourite residence. Our final stop is Stonehenge, which stands alone in the vast, empty section of the Salisbury Valley as the world's most famous prehistoric and now a World Heritage Site. This tour typically lasts 2 hours to 2.5 hours and it includes entry to Magdalen college, where CS Lewis taught. If Magdalen is ever closed, we will inform you & offer refund or reschedule date or proceed with a visit to an alternative such as Exeter college, where Tolkien studied.

This tour introduces both these famous writers and their lives here in Oxford plus offers insights into what life is like as an Oxford academic.
