What makes Oceanfront Landing 75-Minute Helicopter Tour a unique experience ?
Take off from the heliport and over the ridges of West Maui. Continue across the Pailolo channel to the island of Molokai to explore the tallest sea cliffs, rainforest and waterfalls.
Coming back you will then land at Air Maui’s private oceanfront landing location on the North shore of Maui to take in the views.
Then flight will then continue across the West Maui Mountains and back to the heliport.
Tour Description & Additional Info:
- Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
- Suitable for all physical fitness levels
- Weight Restrictions: Due to FAA regulations, all passengers must be weighed at check-in. For each single passenger weighing 240 pounds or more, combined weights of 420 lbs per couple, or for groups of 3 or more an average weight of 200lbs or more an additional seat must be purchased at time of booking. This is for the safety and comfort of all passengers. It is important to provide accurate body weight at checkout.
- It is recommended that all passengers wear dark clothing to help have less reflection in the windows when flying and therefore you can get better photos during your tour
- Flight routes & sights may vary due to weather
- Infants under 24 months must sit on an adult lap. PLEASE CONTACT AIR MAUI IF BRINGING AN INFANT. Over 24 months must occupy their own paid seat.
- Please contact Air Maui directly for your check in and departure time at least 72 hours prior to your flight!
- Not wheelchair accessible. There is no wheelchair lift to accommodate wheelchair passengers nor can the staff personally/physically assist people into the helicopter
- Helicopter is a shared cabin holding 6 passengers and one pilot on each flight.

Stay straight as 380 turns into Mayor Elmer F. Cravalho Way headed toward the Kahului Airport. Stay in the right hand lane. There will be a "HELIPORT" sign and right hand exit for the heliport. Follow the HELIPORT signs. Once you turn into the heliport drive to the end. Air Maui is the last hangar on the left. From Kihei/Wailea Area (Allow 30-45 minutes drive time): Take Hwy 31 to Hwy 311 (Maui Veterans Hwy) Turn right on Ho'okele St. drive for about 2 miles and turn right onto hwy. 36 (Hana hwy.) Drive about a mile and turn left on hwy. 37 (Haleakala hwy.) Drive 2 blocks to the stop sign. The HELIPORT is straight ahead. Air Maui is the last hangar.
