What makes Self-guided audio tour in Lund: explore the story of the Locus Peccatorum murder a unique experience ?

This is where the self-guided audio walking tour about the 1829 Locus Peccatorum murder starts. The square is Lund's medieval centerpoint. It is unknown exactly how old this square is, but it has probably been here since the 1100's.

Make a stop outside the building known as Locus Peccatorum, or The House of Sins". This is where the student murder took place in 1829.

We will walk into the park where Kungshuset, where the murderer was facing trial, was located.

You'll make a stop outside Wickmanska gården. The estate was built in the 1700's, and was one of the most well-preserved buildings from that time in Lund. But, then the building burned down in 2002. The house you see today is a replica of the original building.

Make a stop outside Lund Cathedral, an iconic Lutheran church built in the 1100's. On Easter Day of 1830 an announcement was made here in the Cathedral, ordering one man from every house in town to stand guard surrounding the murderer's execution site.

The tour ends outside Kulturen, an open-air museum that also hosts some of the items mentioned during the tour.
