Our guide will tell you about the origins of the city and what role this beautiful church plays in Lucerne's history. You will have time to visit the inside of the church.

We will stop at various squares, learning about the history and traditions that make Lucerne unique. You will hear plenty of stories that will help you understand the culture of Switzerland better.

Of course you will get time to snap a picture of Lucerne's marvelous Chapel Bridge. Did you know it almost got destroyed only a couple of years ago? Find out why!

Enter one of Switzerland's most beautiful Baroque churches and learn about the importance of religion for Lucerne.

Stroll across the historic Spreuerbrücke of Lucerne and learn about its importance for the city today and in the past. Here we will also get the chance to take a break and reflect on what we've seen so far.

Tradition is still alive in Lucerne today, especially at the "Nadelwehr," an old method used to control the water levels of Lake Lucerne. Your guide will explain how it works.

The walls of Lucerne are without a doubt a highlight of the tour. If the weather allows we will get the chance to climb the towers (optional) and get a fantastic view of the old town and all the mountains surrounding Lucerne.
