Cradle Mountain National Park is one of the five national park areas which together form the Tasmanian Wilderness World heritage Area. We continue our journey into the mountains, passing through the forests, plains and highlands, to arrive at Cradle mountain and Dove Lake – the World Heritage Reserve after a 2.5 hour road journey. From there, you have the opportunity to go on one many of Tassie's great short walks, from 30 minute returns to around 2 hour circuits with amazing mountain and lake views. On the return from Cradle Mountain, we will make a stop at Ashgrove Tasmanian Farm Cheese, where you will have the opportunity to taste some of Tassie's finest cheese.
