Senate square is our meeting point, and it is probably the main tourist attraction of the town, where the history of modern Helsinki begins. Here we will find out what are the three beautiful buildings around us!
Helsinki Cathedral or the White cathedral is the most famous landmark in the town that you have probably seen pictures of. We can have a look at inside the church together to learn a bit about the religious mindset in Finland. If we are lucky, we can also enjoy some music inside the church. (The church is closed during the church services, usually on Sunday mornings). In the summer season there is an entrance fee of 8€ to visit the church, so we will visit it from outside only.
"Torille" is a famous Finnish phrase, which means "to the market" ! Let´s visit the market square to find out what that means!
