After starting with a look at the world-famous Art Deco City we make our way out of town to one of Napier's premier wineries where you get the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting experience; depending on availability we usually visit either Church Road Winery or Mission Estate Winery.

Next we head out through stunning countryside, passing vineyards, orchards, farmland and crossing rivers on our way to the picturesque village of Havelock North.

Here we visit beautiful Birdwoods with it's sculpture garden, olde worlde sweet shop and real fruit ice cream before ascending Te Mata Peak for stunning views of the region prior to returning to Napier.

This scenic tour will depart Napier, following the coastline before heading inland to follow the beautiful Tukituki River with stunning views across the valley and the Havelock North hills to Te Mata Peak.

You will then cross the river, heading past Craggy Range winery and into Havelock North before starting the exhilarating climb, almost 400m, to the top of the Peak with spectacular, 360-degree panoramic views of Hawkes Bay and on a clear day as far as the volcanic Ruapehu!

Climbing a mountain on a V8 trike can be an experience to remember, great for celebrating birthdays or that special occasion.

We spend approximately 20 mins at the Peak before heading back down through the orchards and vineyards.

Napier does not have a cruise passenger terminal so all passengers a required to hop on the free shuttles into the city, the second stop is the National Aquarium which is where our cruise tours depart from.
