After breakfast, board the subway with your guide to Yuexiu park. Yuexiu Park is one of the ten best scenic parks in Guangzhou. After that, you will spend some time exploring Beijing Road. Beijing road is more than a simple pedestrian street, it has been the central axis of Guangzhou since the Sui and Tang Dynasties. After lunch, you will visit the famous Chen Clan Academy, a symmetric academic complex of 19 buildings with nine halls and six courtyards. Marvel at the exquisite traditional Chinese architecture and style and admire the large collection of different Chinese art pieces, from woodcarvings to pottery.
From there, your guide will lead you to Qingping Market. Located at the bank of the Pearl River, the market is specialized in agricultural and sideline products as well as Chinese Herbal medicines. It was authorized as the first Medicine market in China in 1996. The various products and the traditional features of the market attract lots of tourists in and abroad to feel the "real China experience".
Your last stop will be Shamian Island, an area filled with European history. Witness several of these colonial structures like the French Catholic Church, the British Protestant Church and various bronze structures depicting Western individuals from the present and the past.
