Although Avanos pottery may seem easy when it is on the master's loom, it is not actually easy to make. The soil used in pottery making is taken from Avanos Mountains and Kizilirmak beds. Soft and oily clay soils are sifted and turned into mud, and this mud is shaped in workshops called "workshops".
It is thought that it was used by Christian monks in the mid-17th century and was used for defensive purposes from the later period until today.
Devrent Valley; This valley, one of the most impressive places in Cappadocia, is also called Dream Valley. Since the shape of the fairy chimneys here resembles living creatures, it is called the Valley of Dreams. The most famous one is the fairy chimney, which resembles a camel shape.
