The 2.6-mile hike to the Castner Glacier ice cave is straightforward and almost entirely flat. Sometimes deep snow might be present so the use of snowshoes will be necessary. Santa Claus House is one of the top attractions in Interior Alaska, and has welcomed millions of visitors from all over the world.
