The tour begins at Punta Bandera port, sailing along the Flood Canal to the Seno Mayo, where the Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro glaciers meet. In Bahía Toro, we take a 700-meter interpretive hike through the Andean forest, visiting a waterfall and enjoying views of the hanging glaciers. Then, we sail to Cerro Negro, where we walk 1,000 meters to the base of the Black Glacier, surrounded by waterfalls. The tour ends with a sailing near the Perito Moreno Glacier, admiring its imposing front and the breaking zone. After disembarking at Puerto Moreno and walking the walkways for 1 hour, we return to Punta Bandera port.

What makes Mayo Glacier Spirit Trek a unique experience ?
The glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro are located within Seno Mayo of Lago Argentino and Los Glaciares National Park. The only way to access them is by lake. Starting from Puerto Argentino or Puerto Moreno, we will navigate through the Canal de los Témpanos and enter the May Seno of Lake Argentino.

Starting from Puerto Argentino or Puerto Moreno, we will navigate through the Canal de los Témpanos and enter the May Seno of Lake Argentino.
We will observe the hanging glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro. Then, we will disembark together with the guide and start a walk of approximately 1,000 meters, entering the Andean Patagonian Forest
In the final section of this excursion, we will disembark on the catwalks of the Perito Moreno Glacier to tour some of its balconies and then start back to your hotel in El Calafate.
