What makes From El Calafate: Perito Moreno footbridges + optional Boat Tour a unique experience ?
We’ll start our Full Day Tour of the Perito Moreno Glacier by picking you up in your accommodation in El Calafate at 10:30 a.m. Once the whole group is together, we’ll head to the Los Glaciares National Park. Let the adventure begin! During the trip our guide will provide us with a lot of information about the history and characteristics of the glacier, as well as about the park where it is located.
Once we’re in the National Park we’ll go up to the Perito Moreno Glacier footbridges. The guide will explain all the different paths you can walk, as there are many footbridges. You can choose what path to walk and will do soon your own. Enjoy the glacier views from different perspectives!
Remember that we’ll spend lunchtime in the park. We recommend packing a picnic and enjoying it in the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier but, if you’d rather eat at a restaurant, there is one available in the park.
If you have included the option including boat tour, you will take a transfer to Bajo las Sombras port where you will take the boat that will sail for an hour near the glacier wall, to get to know this iconic glacier even closer.
All good things must come to an end. The guide will let you know what time you have to go back to the meeting point. Once we’re all together again, it’s time to say goodbye to the wonderful views of the Perito Moreno and take our private transport back to your accommodation.
