We'll explore Q'enqo and then head out for a short, 15 minute scenic walk to the statue of Cristo Blanco (White Christ), where we'll stop for our delicious picnic of Peruvian snacks and enjoy the beautiful

Next, we'll explore the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuaman. At an altitude of 3,700 metres and just three kilometres from Cusco, the fortress boasts walls up to 400 metres long, made out of boulders weighing between 128 and 200 tonnes. Every year the Inty Raymi (celebration of the sun) is celebrated on these ruins overlooking the city of Cusco.

To finish the tour, we'll walk back to Cusco, which will take us about half an hour. We'll descend back to the city via Inca streets, learning some stories and legends of the Inca Empire along the way.
