Rafting down Tenorio River
12 kilometers (about 2 hours) of the Tenorio River, passing through sections dominated by over 22 class III-IV whitewater rapids. In smoother sections, take a look around at the lush, forested scenery & spot tropical birds or monkeys high in the trees. This unique rafting tour finishes with the thrilling 12-foot waterfall drop, “Cascabel Falls.”

When you arrive to the end of your exciting rafting journey at our private river exit, do a quick hike to the 4×4 vehicle, and then head back to to the tour base in Canas.

After arriving back to the tour base, you’ll then be treated to a delicious Costa RIca Style lunch called a Casado with rice, beans, salad, plantains, and choice of protien. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.

Rio Celeste Waterfall Hike – Tenorio Volcano National Park
Upon arriving at the entrance, you will go on a 2 hour moderately difficult hike in the park. Along the trail you will walk through the rainforest and along the Celeste River, where you can observe one of nature’s most intriguing phenomenon. After this beautiful site, you will continue hiking to where two brooks merge together, turning clear water into a divine hue of turquoise that makes Rio Celeste. This chemical reaction, due to the volcanic minerals, makes for an astounding sight that can only be experienced at this unique location. This is where you will often see sloths and other wildlife. This hike is a fantastic opportunity for healthy exercise and unforgettable experiences in one of Costa Rica’s most unique hidden gems.

Get an up close look at Costa Rica's hidden natural wonders with this river floating,volcano hot springs and mud baths tour. You will have the chance to encounter the animals of the rainforest such as the Sloth and the tree frogs on a small walk through a privately run property perfectly preserved in the northern rainforest region.

We will travel to a beautiful waterfall, refresh ourselves in this virgin environment. Then we head to the mountainous jungle and the volcanic region of Tenorio.is famous for its beautiful views, exotic vegetation and diverse wildlife.

With an early start from the Tamarindo area, we'll head to the rainforest area of Tenorio and Miravalles Volcanoes.  Along the way we'll stop at a waterfalls before continuing on to the rainforest.  We'll enjoy a short walk on a tropical farm that's a haven for birds and animals including a butterfly garden, toucans, frogs, insects, lizards, snakes and SLOTHS!

After the tour we'll have a lovely lunch and then head back.
