Even if it's your first time around a board, you'll be safely shown up to your first wave before you’ve even had time to worry about falling off. We have lots of amazing surfing locations at our finger tips and we'll find you the best waves the Byron-Ballina region has to offer.

From absolute beginners to anyone looking for a refresher course, these lessons include safety information about the beach and important surf and safety rules covering all the basics from the warm-up, to paddling, catching waves and standing.

In our small group surf sessions, we offer tailored guidance to enhance your surfing skills, boost confidence, and deepen your understanding of the sport. Alongside refining your technique, you'll also embark on a journey of learning, adventure, and cultural immersion as we explore diverse destinations together.

The art of scouring the local breaks in a Troop carrier and picking out the best spot of the day is a right of passage for most surfers and can often be as much fun as the water session itself!

With 1 - 6 spaces available, you can go on a solo mission and take advantage of the one on one instruction, or bring the posse along for an amazing day out hunting and scoring the waves together, going to epic lookouts along the coast and checking out the Byron Hinterland on the drive home.

We choose the best locations for the day depending on wind, tides and swells. We will coach up to an advanced level and are licensed to use hardboards. The session is personalised to your needs and level, so you are encouraged to define what you want to get out of the session. Sessions are progressive in nature so you keep improving. So many people come to Byron Bay and don't see the beauty of the surrounding towns, waterfalls, lakes, beaches, rivers and landscapes. This tour has been designed to maximise your day trip to Nimbin. This is the only swimming Nimbin tour. With our tour not only do you get to see beautiful waterfalls but you can explore them also and go swimming! We have a smaller group size and can customise the day depending on the group.
