Let Alejandra, the main character from "On Heroes and Graves" by Ernesto Sábato, guide you through this special tour that pays homage to the great Argentine writers who made Buenos Aires immortal through their works. The tour starts in front of the Mario Moreno National Library. You will pass by an extraordinary building, the Museum of Books and Languages. Your narrator will tell you about Adolfo Bioy Casares. You will pass by the square named after the Argentine military. Then Alejandra will tell you about its creator, Ernesto Sabato. Also, it is impossible to think of literature in Buenos Aires without talking about Jorge Luis Borges. Finally, Alejandra will tell you a secret about the famous controversial political discussion between Sábato and Borges. Your tour will end in front of the magnificent Ateneo bookstore.

We invite you to discover this exciting story and reveal the mystery of why Evita is immortal in Argentine hearts. We are going to tour the area where the Mariano Moreno National Library is located and visit different monuments (Borges, Cortázar, Pope John Paul II, Evita and Perón) that will help us tell the story and open the debate and understand why Argentines continue to cry to Evita.

This customizable tour shows you the places where some of the most famous Argentinian writers in the world lived or found inspiration to create their mystical worlds. From Borges, Sabato, to Cortazar and many others, this tour will introduce you to these great writers as you discover their presence in Buenos Aires.
