The chapel was built on the ruins of an old church dedicated to St John the Baptist. The lookout used to function as a shot-casting tower. It is 40 meters tall with 200 steps leading to the top.

The oldest watermill of Tata town is situated at one of the nothern side of the Old lake, over the stream called "Által ér" It survived the turkish occupation and it was in 1753 rebuilt in baroque style. It was used normally for grinding until the end of the 1960s.

Belfry. Has two unique points, one this is where they once held the national assembly. The second, named Óratorony ( clock tower), wooden structure was made without iron nails. After giving home to the national assembly it became one of the city's symbols. The bells ringing every gour to remind the locals and visitors about passing of time.
