The Tian'anmen Rostrum is the majestic structure that sits at the northern end of the square, facing south. Its stature and positioning represent authority and power.
After admiring the Square, jumping out from "the past", walking to the National Theatre.It is an ellipsoid dome of titanium and glass surrounded by an artificial lake. Best time to see the theatre is when they light up at night!

Continue to the lively Wangfujing Street. The Wangfujing street is the best place to shop for Chinese souvenirs and authentic Chinese products.
