As you will be exploring the site, its craters, and the remnants of the German fortifications, your guide will recount the planning and execution of this complicated mission entrusted to Lt. Col. Rudder and three companies of the 2nd Battalion.

The landings on Omaha Beach came to be known as "the best imitation of hell" the American troops had to go through during the Second World War.
