Make the most of your adventure

What makes Welchman Hall Gully, Hunte’s Garden and Peg Farm Family Day a unique experience ?

Enjoy the beauty and tranquility of these amazing gardens. Follow the pathway through several mini-gardens to experience a huge selection of exotic plants. Relax in one of several seating areas to appreciate the harmony of nature, whilst classical music and birdsong fills the air.

This gully is so full of life in the heart of Barbados. Walk along the shaded trail and see the rainforest as it appeared to the first settlers. You'll see fascinating specimens of trees and plants. This is also home to a troop of wild green monkeys so hopefully you'll spot them as they feed, play and groom each other. An amazing natural experience that you just can’t miss. (Please be aware that they are completely wild and are free to roam as they please - so seeing them cannot be guaranteed). Plenty of fun activities available for the young at heart in the adventure park – tightrope, zipline and swinging through the trees!

Wander around and explore this farm and surrounding area armed with just a map! See rainforest views in the gully one moment and the incredible view of the east coast from Hackleton Cliff the next. Walk through the fascinating herbal/ medicinal garden and meet the free range animals – cows, pigs, black-belly sheep, chickens and guinea fowl. We follow this with a beautiful lunch at the superb Farm to Table Café – not your traditional Bajan food but fresh, wholesome and even more delicious. (Please note - lunch is not included in tour price.)
