What makes Historical tour of Baku - Qobustan and Mud Vulcano a unique experience ?

In the interactive museum of Gobustan, you will follow the stages of human development - from the Stone Age to the present. I will talk about archaeological finds, about the flora and fauna of these places, about ancient cities, the first written language and much more.

On the road dotted with boulders of bizarre shape, we will go to the rocks. You will examine the numerous petroglyphs and feel like real archaeologists - what if you will be able to decipher the message of ancient artists? You will hear music by the mysterious stone Gavaldash, visit the caves where people settled in the Stone Age, and you will find traces of bonfires that were kindled 30 thousand years ago. Unlike the French cave of Lascaux, where tourists are not allowed to enter, here you can touch the ancient petroglyphs.

If the weather is fine, we will go to the mud volcanoes. Driving off-road, you will find yourself among alien landscapes: cracked earth and seething hills, on the slopes of which, creating a unique relief, a thick mass of mud stream — breccia — spreads. If you want, you can feel the healing properties of mud.

On the way back we will visit the Bibi Heybat mosque - an extraordinary beauty! Here are the four descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, and miracles are also fulfilled, and people find healing in their souls and bodies.
