Why choose this tour ?

Pacaya is one of the most active volcanoes in Central America, easily accessible with a height of 2,552 meters above sea level. For over 50 years, it has maintained a moderate eruptive phase and is one of the most recommended volcanoes due to its stunning landscapes. The ascent is a moderate hike with some sections of medium-high difficulty, offering spectacular panoramic views. The tour begins in Antigua. After a one-hour drive, you will reach the entrance to the National Park, where an entrance fee of Q100.00 per person is required. We recommend wearing hiking boots, and a hiking stick (available for rent at Q10.00 if needed). The tour can be done on foot or by horse (horse rental is not included). As you walk along the volcanic sand trails with incredible views, you will reach the plateau where you can see the main crater of the volcano. For safety reasons, it is not possible to visit the crater, but you will witness steam emissions caused by the volcanic heat.
