International Food of New Orleans Bike Tour
In New Orleans, nothing brings people together like music and food. Just like our music, our food has been influenced by an array of cultures and backgrounds. There are no better places in New Orleans to experience this diverse food landscape than the Marigny and Bywater neighborhoods. Over this three hour bike tour, our tour will traverse these neighborhoods and expound upon the food culture of Honduras, Vietnam, the Philippines, Jamaica, Japan, and Germany. Additionally, the tour guide will explain how these cultures and cuisines became intertwined into the fabric and history of the city. This tour also includes international cuisine, which will be prepared and explained by Local Pinay Chef Cristina Quackenbush of Milkfish! The tour starts with an appetizer, as well as a full meal at the halfway point. Toward the end of the tour, a brewery will be visited that features Vietnamese cuisine. The food varies on each tour, so please make us aware of any dietary restrictions in advance.

Please be advised, we do not enter any buildings. This is an outdoor walking tour. Please arrive at the check in location 30 minutes prior to departure. Destrehan Plantation and Swamp Tour from New Orleans


Combine two excellent New Orleans day trips with this 6-hour experience visiting Destrehan Plantation and going on a swamp tour. This Plantaiton is the closest Plantation to the Fench Quarter. Visit the 1787 Antebellum housein the Mississippi Valley, including an 1811 slave revolt museum/cabin on the grounds along with its massive oak trees. Next take a swamp tour in the bayou to look for alligators, turtles, snakes, and other wildlife. The boat ride will be 1 hour and 40 minutes. The Plantation house tour is limited to 20 persons in each group and the average guided house tour will be about 1 hour. Overall you spend about 1 hour 30 minutes at the Destrehan Plantation grounds and house tour.
