This day adventure takes you deep into the south of Tasmania to explore this stunning region’s highlights. We drive through the historic riverside village of Franklin which still honours the traditional craft of building wooden boats. Then it’s time to head to the Far South: HASTINGS CAVES (cost included) Explore the largest dolomite cave open to visitors in Australia. See spectacular stalactites, columns, shawls, and stalagmites. Please bring warm clothes as the caves are a chilly 9C. TAHUNE ADVENTURES (cost included) Walk in the treetops on the Tahune airwalk, cross a swinging bridge, see Huon pines, and relish the views of the surrounding forest on this two-hour forest adventure. We do not allow time to visit the Thermal Pool

We begin the day with our city loop tour where we will provide guided commentary of Hobart’s major attractions and landmarks. Our first destination is the awe-inspiring kunanyi, also known as Mt. Wellington. Ascend to the pinnacle at 1272m and be mesmerized by the breathtaking panoramic view of Hobart and its surroundings. Next, we’ll venture to the renowned Salamanca Market, available on Saturdays only. After exploring the market, we will continue our journey through the scenic Coal River Valley wine region. Along the way, we will quickly stop at the acclaimed Wicked Cheese. Then, we will proceed to the historic township of Richmond, which is rich in convict history. Richmond is home to numerous charming eateries, making it the perfect spot for our lunch break. To conclude our adventure-filled day, we’ll visit the Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Get up close and personal with the kangaroos and other native wildlife. Don’t miss the chance to witness the famous Tasmanian Devil.

This 5 hour tour (7 hours on a Saturday) is a perfect way to see nipaluna (Hobart) major attractions including Salamanca market (Saturday only). It’s a great introduction to Hobart major attractions without having to commit to a full day tour. It is a fully guided tour with plenty of free time to do everything at your own leisure. The tour is in a mini bus and you will have a local passionate tour guide who is packed full of all things Tasmania. We offer pickups at 9 locations in and around the city which you will start and have the option of finishing at.   Please note that this is a 7 hour tour on Saturdays which means you will have plenty of time to explore the Salamanca Markets and get some more time to explore Richmond.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION Discover the roads less travelled as our Tour Guide showcases one of Hobarts most challenging, rewarding and scenic rides. Cycle through Hobart Rivulet surrounded by natural beauty on route to the historic pipeline track meandering beneath the canopy of ancient trees and ferns, before heading off to climb the iconic Mt Wellington. There is the option to do half the climb, stopping off at the Lost Freight Café, for a steamy cuppa. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Return Journey Explore the wonderful sights and activities in Hobart upon return, including Salamanca Place and Constitution Dock. Optional Hydration Stop Post-ride hydration stop at the famous Hobart Brewing Company.

Cradle Mountain is always a rewarding Tasmanian photography tour. Highlights of this 3 day workshop include two sunsets and two sunrises at Dove Lake; wildlife, including Tasmanian Devils up close at the Devils@Cradle park. You will also shoot rustic mountain huts including Waldheim Chalet and the picture perfect boat shed on Dove Lake. There are many beautiful rivers and waterfalls deep in the myrtle and king billy rainforest, and you will spend your days immersed in this ancient environment. If conditions allow we will do a night session at Dove Lake. Additionally, the stunning Liffey Falls is an optional inclusion on the way to or from Cradle Mountain.
