Once kitted up in lifejackets and having had a safety brief we will depart Torquay Marina and head along the coast stopping at secluded bays, rock islands and stunning coves. Be prepared for the moving bits to be done with astonishing acceleration but then settle into some witty commentary from the crew onboard as they showcase the very best bits of Torbay for you to see. We will also keep a look at for wildlife along the way. Raptor seats 12 people and we are on the water for 30 minutes. Its an experience you will never forget.

This is the longest boat trip we do. We will leave Torquay Marina and head out into the bay. Dependant on the weather we will either turn left or right but with way we will hug the coast. Along our route we will explore coves, caves and rock islands as we admire the geology of the UNESCO Geopark and look out for wildlife. We hope to see seals, dolphins + porpoise as well as an array of sea birds including our Guillemot colony (March – August). We will take in the whole bay and weather dependant extend further down the coast enhancing our changes of spotting more wildlife. Wildlife is not guaranteed but we will do our very best to find them !! We will also have some fun at speed and a few donuts !! This is truly a great way to get out on the water. Take in the beautiful coastal surroundings of Morwenstow, N. Cornwall with a local guide who was born and raised here. Our route takes us to some of the South west’s most remote, wild and spectacular places – all linked together on sleepy country lanes with very little traffic. This area is extremely beautiful but can be hilly, and this is where the electric bikes come into their own. With an electric motor assisting while you pedal, we will be able to explore the area in comfort, giving you more energy to take in the surroundings! Our route will last 2.5-3 hours and will take us on some lovely roads out to the cliffs, with a tea rooms (famed for it’s cream teas!) and local pub along the way if you fancy a refreshment. To get access to some of the most interesting places (for example a shipwreck-wood cabin built into the cliff face in the 1800’s) we will park the bikes and go on foot for 15 minutes, so please bring shoes you are comfortable walking in too.

Motorgliders by there nature are extremely safe aircraft to fly in as with their long wings they can glide very efficiently without the engine running. The Devon House Mansion is the architectural dream of Jamaica’s first black millionaire George Stiebel. Stiebel was among three wealthy Jamaicans who constructed elaborate homes during the late 19th century at the corner of Trafalgar Road and Hope Road, which fittingly became known as the Millionaires Corner. Although the other homes were eventually demolished to make way for modern development ventures, Stiebel’s legacy lives on within the beautifully maintained Devon House – a national monument declared in 1990 by the Jamaica National Heritage Trust. The guided tours inside the 2 story property allow each guest to peruse the louvered balconies, Venetian crystal chandeliers, silk wall hangings and period reproductions of its time, and at the end of the Mansion tour, each guest receives a sweet surprise!

Totally unique experience offered with this trip. Take off and climb away using our 80hp Rotax engine and upon reaching 1 mile above sea level we will slowly reduce power and allow the engine to gently cool down. After about a minute of cooling we will stop the engine completely and become a proper glider with a glide ratio of 24 to 1. “Probably the most militarised county in WWII”, some 1.5 million GI’s were stationed in the county of Devon. The north and south coasts of Devon were used extensively to both house the GI’s and enable them to practice amphibious landings before the Normandy landings. This includes the notorious Slapton sands, one of the US military’s darkest secrets of WWII. Focussing on the south coast, in addition to Slapton we’ll visit Plymouth, where some 36,000 GI’s departed. Plymouth is said to be the most bombed city in WWII (per sq mile) more than London and Coventry and is still the largest naval dockyard in Western Europe. Down the coast the picturesque coastal town of Dartmouth is home to two stunningly preserved castles at the mouth of the River Dart as well as Britannia Naval College, home to US naval command and where Queen Elizabeth first set eyes on the Duke of Edinburgh. Finally Brixham, now Englands’ biggest fishing port with some of the best preserved naval gun batteries of WWII.

Travel to Kingston, the capital of Jamaica, on a day trip from Montego Bay. Take the opportunity during the 3-hour drive up Jamaica’s North Coast Highway to admire the views of rural Jamaica. Travel through Ocho Rios and Fern Gully to Kingston where you will visit the Bob Marley Museum. Enjoy lunch at Devon House (own expense), visit the craft shops or treat yourself to an ice cream.
